FAQs

  • What style of yoga can I expect?

Our classes are for all abilities, focused on helping you develop your own practice and understanding of your body. Our yoga is hatha and vinyasa inspired, designed to build strength, mobility and good body alignment as well as definition. Once these three components come together, the flexibility will come easy.

  • I have never done yoga, can I still come?

Absolutely! Our classes are designed for all levels and our teachers guide you through softer options when starting your journey with yoga. They will help you build your practice over time - yoga is a lifetime personal practice for the self and everyone is built differently with different needs... the beauty of our classes is that they are truly for everyone and there are no egos in our studio.

  • What should I bring?

    For yoga + movement classes:
Come as you are, in clothes that allow you to move freely – leggings, shorts, or a light sports top are great options. We provide mats, blocks, straps, and our fluffies for a cosy savasana, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.

For sound baths + deep rest sessions:
We’ve got plenty of blankets and eye pillows here, but some people feel more comfortable with their own. A sleeping bag is a lovely option, and a hat or fluffy socks are great if you tend to feel the cold. Water is always a good idea.

    Hydration:
Arrive well-hydrated and bring a water bottle with you. Don’t worry if you forget – we have cups and good old tap water on hand.

  • How to contact us.

Please drop us a dm on Instagram or email hello@heisthousestudios.co.uk if you have any questions or need help with anything.

  • What are the benefits?

Yoga offers numerous benefits for both body and mind. It provides a comprehensive workout that enhances mobility, strength, and flexibility, making it ideal even for those with injuries. Regular practice helps relieve tension, boosts energy levels, and improves digestive health.

Additionally, yoga aids in creating muscle definition and sculpting the body, while promoting better breathing techniques for overall well-being.

  • Can I bring a friend?

As a member, you can invite one friend each month to join you for free and experience the studio. It’s the perfect way to share your practice and introduce someone new to our community.

If you’d like to bring more than one guest, you can easily book additional spots through the app using a drop-in pass or your credit pack.

We’re so grateful for your support in helping our community grow and can’t wait to welcome your friends to Heist House Studios.

  • What is the cancellation policy?

Please note there will be a FULL charge for all classes that are booked and not attended.

You must cancel your booking 4 hours (minimum) before the start of classes. If classes are cancelled with less then 4 hours you will also be charged the full amount.

Failure to do so will result in a charge for the full amount of that class.

  • Are there changing facilities?

There are toilets on the same floor next to the studio where you are welcome to change before or after class.

  • Where is the studio within Nashwhite

You will find our space on the first floor of Nashwhite's beautiful Heist House.
No need to check in at reception, if you head into Nashwhite, walk through to the back of the salon to the left-hand corner, up the stairs and the studio is to your righthand side through the sliding doors.

  • Where do I leave my belongings

We have a no shoes or personal belongings etiquette within the studio so students are asked to leave their things outside the sliding doors in and around the sofa in front of the yoga equipment locker. Please bare with us whilst we work on a suitable storage solution.

  • Collaborating With Us

We love working with passionate, purpose-driven people who are aligned with our values and vision.

We’ve intentionally built a community around a team of resident teachers, coaches, and facilitators who contribute regularly to our schedule. This consistency allows us to nurture deeper relationships with our community, ensure quality and alignment, and hold space in a way that feels grounded and intentional.

Rather than renting our space for one-off events, we prioritise collaborative partnerships that grow over time. When it comes to guest offerings, such as sound baths, workshops, or circles, we explore them through co-hosted sessions or seasonal programming where our core team is actively involved.

If you feel strongly aligned with our approach and would love to explore a potential collaboration in the future, we’d love to hear from you. Let’s co-create something beautiful, intentional, and in service to the wider community.

  • Workplace Wellbeing

We believe wellbeing shouldn’t stop at the studio doors, it belongs in the workplace too. From energising movement breaks to grounding mindfulness practices, we create bespoke sessions that bring balance, focus, and connection to your team.

Our workplace and corporate wellbeing offerings are grounded in the same values that guide everything we do at Heist House Studios: intentional, human-centred, and designed to leave people feeling nourished and empowered. Whether it’s a one-off team reset, a wellbeing day, or an ongoing programme, we tailor our approach to the needs of your workplace.

We’ve worked with companies to support strategy days, off-site retreats, and weekly in-office sessions, blending yoga, breathwork, sound, and mindfulness into experiences that are practical, accessible, and impactful.

If you’d love to explore bringing Heist House wellbeing into your workplace, we’d be delighted to chat.
